When the winter comes, I like to hibernate. But the sun is returning to the northern hemisphere, and I’m slowly coming back to life right along with it. That means catching up on things I meant to do in November and December, and trying not to burn myself out before February.
The big project right now is editing Earther 27, and it’s proving to be a bit of a beast. There are so many things that I think I’ve explained, only to realise that I explained them in my world-building notebook, not in the story itself. Oops. Then, just when I think I have everything settled, I notice something else that needs to be fixed. It’s like trying to patch the sky.
Wait, that comparison only makes sense to people who’ve read Legends of the People, which only exists in draft form on my computer. Sorry.
By the way, if you sign up for my newsletter, you’ll get early access to bonus side-stories, like the ones in Legends of the People, as soon as they are edited. (Hint, hint…)
Just a short post today. The days are still quite short after all.
